Motor bracket

The motor bracket assembly is supplied pre-fitted to the motor housing. The bracket comprises of two aluminium plates which are coupled together with three M3 nut/bolt pairs. The coupled bracket is then bolted to the underside of the motor housing. It is clearly very difficult to produce a single bracket that can universally couple to all telescope focusers on the market. Therefore, the SharpSky Pro bracket has an area left untouched for the user to make the necessary coupling arrangement. In order to simplify the coupling of the motor to the scope the bracket is adjustable +/-10mm lengthwise making the exact position of scope fixing holes less critical.

The intention is that as more scopes accommodate the SharpSky Pro motor AstroPhotographers will detail the fixing hole positions of their particular focuser/scope and therefore create a pool of shared knowledge.
