Bootloader - a brief description
The bootloader allows the SharpSky Pro user to upgrade the embedded firmware running on the microprocessor in the main control box. This is possible via the USB connection and therefore permits firmware upgrades without even having to remove the controller from its mounted position.
The bootloader consists of two pieces of software. One half runs on the microprocessor within the control box and the second half is a PC based application pictured opposite.
